GREAT NEWS !!
I have just seen that Adobe have made available to download the new Photoshop CS6 Beta !!! http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopcs6/ Download Photoshop CS6 beta for Mac (DMG, 984 MB) Download Photoshop CS6 beta for Windows (ZIP, 1.7 GB) WOW! 1,7 GB !!! ![]() _________________________________________________________ Be aware that this is a DIRECT download and DOES NOT use Adobe´s own special download manager to avoid problems ![]() I can recommend to use the www.opera.com browser that for me is the best and faster one for downloading BIG files. _________________________________________________________ PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT MISS THE NEW VIDEO ALSO http://youtu.be/PTYcRWPsZUg Be aware that this video ONLY shows 6 of the new features, and there are much more! ____________________________________________________________ SO I think that the rumors are right that the final version could be released sometime in April 2012, or if not in the first days of May.
Blazingly fast performance and a modern UI New and re-engineered design tools Would this two be ever possible in Filter Forge ? Would to see the news that FF Inc. is making something to make FF faster perfomance even without using GPU, perhaps could be needed a re-enginnering of the FF processing engine.

I have just finished download the 1,7 GB !!!
I love Opera for downloading, is very fast and have VERY FEW problems, and if it stops, you can hit stop, and then continue to resume without any problem, AND more important is that the fastest downloading I have tried fr om all the 5 browsers I have installed and use alternatively depending on what I want to do. NOW I am going to install and test myself the incredible features shown in the videos I have seen. Will also try to install Filter Forge in the CS6 and see if it works IMPORTANT FOR THE CS6 BETA INSTALLATION

This beta is of course FREE
If you think that Photoshop CS6 is too expensive for you YOU CAN BUY PHOTOSHOP FULL FROM 35$ EACH MONTH ! There is also available the option to NOT BUY the full version of the software and RENT it from adobe and pay MUCH LESS a part each month you want to use it. You could ONLY 35$ per month for having the WHOLE FULL VERSION instead of the paying the full price. http://www.adobe.com/products/creativ...ption.html ALSO VERY IMPORTANT that is in this price IS INCLUDED ALL the future upgrades version without paying anything else more. http://techhamlet.com/2011/04/now-you...photoshop/ http://guyism.com/lifestyle/adobe-cre...ental.html This is a very good option IF you do not want to pay the whole full price, and could be ALSO cheaper in the long term, because it would take almost 2 YEARS to pay the full amount of the REAL price, BUT then this includes the UPGRADE TOO, so after 2 years when CS7 is released you will get it for FREE. VERY IMPORTANT TOO IS THAT FOR THE ADOBE SUBSCRIPTION YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ALREADY ANY PREVIOUS VERSION |

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS FOR UPGRADES
DO NOT DELAY THEM MUCH FROM NOW ON Originally in November 2011 Adobe was NOT going to offer any discount to users of CS3 or CS4 and ONLY for CS5 or CS5.5, so the ONLY option was to buy a montly or yearly subscription. Adobe Will Only Offer Photoshop CS6 Upgrade Price to CS5 Owners
You can see it here --> http://www.petapixel.com/2011/11/16/a...s5-owners/ BUT then this year 2012 have changed their new policy and NOW will accept giving an option for previous users BUT ONLY UNTIL DECEMBER 2012
And here is the official and real offer announcement from adobe http://www.adobe.com/products/creativ...olicy.html
___________________________________________________________ BE AWARE THAT MOST PROBABLY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPGRADE FROM CS4 OR CS5 TO CS7 ___________________________________________________________ CS7 is suppossed to be available according to the new "upgrading policy" of Adobe in about 18 or 24 months AFTER the release of CS6. 12 months could there a be a CS6.5. |

Be aware that for getting this 35$ offer you must make a 1 year rent contract and can cancel after (although you still pay ONLY month by month and NOT all the whole year) because if you want the freedom to choose which months you want to use Photoshop or you want to cancel whenever you want it will cost 49$ per month. BTW: I saw as presentation at the Adobe mothership in San Francisco this past week.
The new Pshop video tools look amazing. You can now pretty much edit video (incl. audio tracks) right in your .PSD file. It works as a smart object, and you can layer it using the normal layering tools, and the timeline. It also has nice features like fade-in, to simplifiy working with clips. The 'tourist removal' tool is also amazingly useful. (actually combine stack) This was originally only in CS5extended, but now is standard in CS6: http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/CarT...ver_SM.mov It allows you to take a stack of images, and run median (or a number of other processes: maximum, minimum etc.) on them all. So, if you have 5 pics of a building you can keep only the things which stay the same, not the people moving around in front. Apparently, this was created for medical imaging, (xrays) but is artistically useful as well. BTW2: I also heard that if you upgrade to 5.5, that you will get 6.0 free! |
