I have seen that many of you are using Sculptris or Zbrush, and I have seen that ONLY FOR TODAY 8 MARCH 2012 (at midnight USA Pacific time or a little later, just try) there is an offer of 50% discount to buy some of this 3D ZBrush Alpha Brushes that are very good. Also can be used as 2D brushes.
I suposse that this may be compatible with Sculptris too, as they are also compatible with OTHER different 3D software And they are cheap at only 3.48$ each pack that contain between 78 and 95 brushes Here is one example

SpaceRay, I just went over and looked at the brushes. They have a nice selection, but I saw that many of them can be reproduced right here in filter forge. Any filter you can do in black and white will work. Most of the textures in Sculptris are in png files, so you can produce tons of filters for free.

I agree and know that many of the brushes can be made by hand and free yourself, but I thought that as they are very cheap for 3.48$, it´s NOT a fortune, and how much in time would it cost you to make this same amount of brushes and get them at the same qaulity ?
Of course is always up to you to decide what you want and need, but I thought that buying this probably could help some of you much to get better effects and textures in your models. |

Although I have put until 8 of March (today only) is NOT the same for ALL the world, as for example in central Europe it will be until tomorrow 9 in the early morning, so it depends of where you are living.
If you have seen it late, and think that is probably too late, just go the links and see if the price is still available at 50% even if it is tomorrow 9 !! |

I agree with SpaceRay.
$3.5 is a low price to pay for 80 odd brushes. You can use them in more than just Zbrush or Sculptris. Now suppose you need to finish a job on a deadline, it's easier to have these high quality sitting around, that it is to make them yourself when you're tight on time. |
