The birch texture definitely looks better now that you can see it on a tree. I wonder if 3D spherical/round renderings should be included on every texture page so users can see how the texture might actually look in a 3D modeling program.

Nice scene Kurts, I like the bokeh effect in the background. Reminds me of a cover image of a Pink Floyd album. smile:)

1. Being from the eastern part of Canada I can tell you... need more black splits in them trees. smile:p

2. Fabulous idea about the render sphere. A feedback sphere in the filter editor would be FREAKIN AWESOME! I use FF for 3D textures all the time, and though the FF built in render engine is really nice, for complex textures it's just faster to load up the maps in Lightwave or Vue and do a test render. 3seconds. thanks. The render feedback sphere, something all 3D artists are used to would allow us to see the results of design choices immediately and how the bump/reflection/colour interact.
