Well... here's my attempt to combine two things I like: sci-fi and art deco. I was inspired by some of the metal work I saw in photos of buildings from the era... especially the Empire State Building.

I hope I managed to capture that art deco feel in these, but I also wanted a more 'futuristic' feel, appropriate for sci-fi work...

Cool to look at and try to figure out what is going on.....alot smile;) smile:) I would consider these for stand-alone art works.....but maybe too "busy" to be used as effective backgrounds.....

Lots going on in these first 3 samples, nice color combinations too. The last one definitely reminds me of that old 1927 b&w movie called "Metropolis".

I like the look of the last one best. I think it's because of the colors. smile:)

Agreed. I pictured these more as being used for panels on a door, or some other accent within a 3D environment. smile;)
