Been working on this one ever since I submitted my 3rd filter, 'Water Worn Pavements'. I thought, 'I need walls to go with this'... so I set about the task, but wanted a few differences for it. Those little differences ended up meaning lots of trial and error! smile:-p

Ah, you like Perlin, eh??? smile:) To me, the second to last one looks the best with the moss growing mostly on the cement.....and can hardly see the perlin pattern.....cool!!! smile8)

I like that one too. The moss is a bit too bright of a green for me though. I like how some of the brick looks wet. smile:)

Hehe... yeah. I first learned about perlin noise from using 'Terragen', and later from using 'Mojoworld' (both free demo versions, btw smile:-p ). It's really pretty amazing how many natural forms can be simulated with variants of perlin noise... (but the trick is obviously trying to hide it from eyes which are familiar with its patterns. smile:D )

Glad you like it though! smile:)

I really wondered about that aspect. The green actually tends to look darker against lighter colored bricks, but then it looks really light against darker bricks. I think I should probably work in a lightness slider or something as a control for that in an update. smile;)

Glad you like it, and thanks for the input! smile:)
