the first four look a little burry... just a tiny bit. then again, maybe my glasses need cleaning smile:) look great otherwise.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Oh wow, Mystic! What a neat idea smile:D

You know, No. 20 is so rich and full of depth... I'm thinking Craig may be right when it comes to choosing all of the above. This one is definitely outstanding, love all the beveling too smile;)

Thank you very much Foxxee, I thought it was time that I updated this filter, since it surely neede it. So far I think the last preset is the one I love best.

Oh, an update? I just did my very first update... well, I mean a serious updated that I wanted to do to an early filter I made, not because I HAD to updated it for all the mistakes I seem to keep making smile:-p

I updated my Moody Shadows 1 and added the ability to cast a color over the room or picture you want the window and curtain shadow casts. Sort of like in the old photos and b&w movies, how they would add a bit of color to change the mood. Soft pink for something sweet and girly, or bright and sunny for the morning sun, even dark blue for moonlight. I use it more than the other so thought I should share it here too smile:)

That last one is very sharp focused compared to the others, not that they are less nice... it's just with no. 20 there showing off all bright spiffy it made the others look dimmer in comparison. But I still like them too and would use them as many others will as well smile;)

The first time I made Inlaid Wood Tiles, it missed something, it was dull and flat. So I will be going though all my old filters and updating them. I uploaded number 20 from the 1st version so you can see the difference.
I need to check out your new updated filter. You make it sound so cool.

Hehe, thanks... hope it doesn't disappoint you.
And that fist tile is beautiful, much nicer than most inlaid wood tiles I've seen too. But yes, I love the 3 dimensional look, gives it a realness you just wish you run your hands over smile:D

I really don't think it will disappoint me at all. I have downloaded it and it reaaly looks like I will have fun with this filter.
I really like the direction the upgrade is going and I am think instead of an upgrade , making it as a version 2 of the filter. Since I have made alot of cchanges to the filter. What do you think? Sometime i wish I had some of these tiles in real life.

Most definately go with what you feel is right for your project, Mystic. As an artist I know you know this to be the only way to go. Even when I was in highschool if I changed my work too much because the teacher said "do this... now do that" I stopped enjoying it and never looked at it again after finishing what didn't feel like my creation any longer.

The more I work on this upgrade, the more it has taken on an life of its own, so most likely I will make it an version 2. A part of me don't want to see the orginal to bite the dust. I hope this makes sense.
I understand where you are comming from. The teacher just love to see they ideas on paper and they tend to forget what you are trying to do.

Yeah teachers... hard to make them happy but glad I had them anyway. I don't think I'd be so involved in graphic arts if it wasn't for their pushing me to learn all sorts of mediums. Even if I didn't like the way they taught I learned a lot and am glad for that smile:D

I understand that too about your first filter, it's your baby after all. Now it's time to introduce it to it's new baby brother... or sister smile;)

yes, i do hope you do this as a version 2. it may be 'dull and flat' in comparison, but it's still got a very good look and i'd hate to have it overwritten with an update. sometimes 'dull and flat' is the look one is after.

Thank you very much Craig, I will be releasing this one as version 2 and I agree with you.
