I like it! Here's an example using it, taking the output from an unreleased filter (Old Tile Floor 3) and turning it into a super warehouse floor...

Great! Very well done and perfect, what i see is that even at the far distance the texture is NOT distorted or damaged as it happens with other filters, this is really neat, good job

For the sake of discussion could you explain the math and your process of constructing the filter?

Nice, Andrey.

@SpaceRay: In the default preset, he has Anti-Aliasing set to "All Pixels" and "25 samples". This is what makes the texture smooth in the distance, but at the cost of increased render time. Try changing the Anti-Aliasing settings to see how it affects the texture.

Very nice. I altered this to add a little more control, check out the presets for how to use it. I hope you don't mind.

I was wondering..... Would it be possible to make every single image standing? I mean, now the images represents the floor itself. What id the image could "stand", making an angle of 90 degrees with the floor?
If it was possible, it would allow to make things like this ....

.... where every soldier could be an image.

Using Smudge, it is possible to give the feeling of a 3D structure on an "infinite floor", as you can see in one of my filters :

But it doesn't make an image "standing".

Ramlyn, I think with the new tools, using looping from the result or bomber+ present possibilities for height mapping beyond smudging. When I get the coding bug again, I will look into this, probably examining the many forums posts showing new features & filters in use.

Thanks Rick. I'll do some test too. Let's see if we find a way. It could make a very nice filter. smile;)
