Thanks. Filter's still missing that little extra something that 'marries' the two layers (chalk and board) though. My idea is that there should be some smear underneath the chalk drawing, as if it was corrected at some time. Some fine chalk dust, with hints of color in it.
Any ideas for a better name? Working title is "It wasn't me!", but that's hardly descriptive of what the filter does. "Detention Doodles" isn't any better, and "Chalkboard Drawing" gives me the yawns... --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

I love the chalk effect. The chalkboard is nice, but would you consider adding a sidewalk or concrete backgrounds also, or would that be a whole different filter?
For names, mebbe: Chalkadilla <-- My vote! Pledge Allegiance to the Chalk Chalk Storm When Chalk met Board Chicka-Chicka Chalk-Chalk (Go on, say it out loud...) I'll stop now, but could go on and on and on and on....

I also wanted to say that I really, REALLY like the depth, variety and richness of the colors allowed in the strokes. (Sometimes chalk images look rather bland, and muted.) This looks really cool!

Nah, I don't think so. That would be overkill. Besides, I don't do Frames anymore.

You mean without using transparency? Short version: Boring. The filter really lives off of having a contour to work with, so an alpha is pretty much a must. Consider the second lifesaver I posted.
