I used the same algorithm as for WWP°144 for a whole wallpaper package.

check them out (all 120 pieces are on Dropbox, the link is on Behance)

i admire your knowledge, experience and skills on filter forge, as you surely know well how to be able to experiment and get amazing and creative results in such great way, and do things that nobody else have done before, at least that I have seen.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing the images of your experiments to show what are able to do with FF and amaze us

HI Martin, I totally agree with SpaceRay, your stuff is awesome, like eye candy,
some of it I just can't stop looking at...

Can clearly see you're on a roll as it just shows in your work... smile:ff:

Particularly interested in Broken Beams II, a brilliant combination of filters...
would you mind sharing what filters they are?

thank you too! smile:) @erica

unfortunately I can't tell you the whole process, but it's roughly like that:

all filters I used are made by my own but I started with something related to this one:
https://www.filterforge.com/filters/11727.html

after this, I used another texture (similar to this:
https://mir-s3-cdn-cf.behance.net/proj...673381.jpg

and put it on offset with the first texture (blurred) on percentage.
after this, I did some overlay effects in Photoshop and some CC ofc. that's it as I remember smile:)

I love the artwork! I'd really like to see the filters used, (do you ever share yours?) and would immediately follow any "making of" videos you posted.

Kudos!

Hey David, thank you!
ofc I thought about doing videos about it or at least speed arts.
I always publish some of my filters, but I hope you understand that I don't really want to give those filters to everyone. It took me days, or maybe weeks or longer to get the results I was looking for.

I can tell you the techniques or maybe upload a screenshot smile:)

Martin, thanks for responding!

I would be happy with the speed art, and as far as shared filters go, I really prefer to pick them apart and learn through analysis, then call on that knowledge to build what I need from scratch. A lot of my filters sit in my archive folder simply because they're too purpose built for the Library. I do understand about wanting to have exclusive use of filters you labored over; they're as much a work of art as what you make with them. They become part of your unique style as an artist; and you don't want to hand that over!

I might be able to use descriptions and screenshots. It's not as good as poking around in the component settings to see why it works, but it'll probably be enough to get me started in the right direction.

I appreciate the offer. I may bug you from time to time with a specific request (a particular artwork), since it'd be a monumental task to break down all the killer art you've already posted!

Glad you understand what I mean smile:)

maybe the screenshot helps also a bit, i used two bombers with the same presets.
One for the X and Y maps and one for the colored Particles. the next step is the loop with multiple components. For the recent WWP I used a scale component in the middle which scales up, from the center of each particle (that's why you need the XY-Bomber map)

as an alternative for "scale" you can also use rotate, rotate or distortion smile:)
