well, this one is very old, like back to something like the 3rd beta version. i just shelved it hoping for some help in the way of lighting or 3d. i might actually toy with it again if you think it has merit.

yeah, psp 7 doesnt have the warp brush or warp mesh. but, i'm pretty sure it has some distortion filters, things like 'pinch' and 'warp'. one of those can balloon an area of an image. if you positioned it right between the drapes... but yes, would be nice to have in FF.

and thinking of the warp filter, i wonder if one could localize a zoom in FF. that might work. i'll bet volde could do it.

and btw, this isnt just my thread. anyone can post stuff here *hint*

hehe, yes, i was surprised by this filter. (is it zero filters or xero? i can never remember). this is one of those i started a long while back and abandoned, more or less. i've been going through these lately to see what can be resurrected. i think i could pull just that part of it out of the overall and make this effect. i'll look.

But... to let you know, I think this filter is great! I've always wanted to own a suit of armor, and it's sooo shiny too

Now, whenever I feel the need to pull into my shell again I'll just put on my Silver Surfer Suit

this is one that i always thought shld have gotten more acclaim. i can understand it not being high use, but always thought it was a pretty good filter.

hmmm, it does have water spraying. be more specific? how could a misty blur be...hmmm, i think i know what you're talking about. i think i could add that.

you want the blur on the water on the pool or on the falls or both? either shld be easy to add.

ah, you like the blur of both. ok, that's fairly typical of photos since they arent always taken at a faster film speed, so the waters get blurred. that's cool. i shld be able to do that.

and dont worry, i do these for the 'audience'. so, if the audience wants 'blur' i usually try to do 'blur'

ah, paint and sketch. you mentioned painting before. now, that's something i just cant do. i'm a stick figure person. i can 'paint' with existing pictures or cut and paste pictures on a computer, but painting and drawing is just a skill that has always eluded me. i do practice once in a while, but only if i can find a very quiet, dark, and extremely secretive place to do it so that no one will ever see.

Maybe the spray could billow up and away towards the onlooker to give it some depth. If it was moving forward towards us it would give that dimension that it was spraying forward I think

Well, I've put up 2 of my own paintings right here in the Comments forum, but guess no one saw them. Did that late last night I think
