I do have contingency plans for xirja.org, but for the mean time...

That particular 24 min render has 80 iterations at 25AA All. The same with 25AA Edge only takes 1/3 the time:

And with no AA its 1:50 ! So I think tossing AA and downsampling a larger version would be the obvious, but I'm all ears. smile:)

Most users here post filters to the library. Trading filters isn't a practice I've heard of here. I'd post some if I thought they were as good as yours or any of the other most excellent users of Filter forge. I rarely have time these days to get serious about filter creation. The only things I do with some filters downloaded from the library is to tweak them but I wouldn't put them up in the FF library as they are only derivations.

I like the others, too! I'm getting a laser printer/cutter/engraver soon and I'm going to be using some filter forge filters to do some cutting and engraving, especially the pattern type filters. if you'd like to see some of your patterns cut into wood or possibly even engraved in soft metal, talk to me smile;)

F***ing Buck Rogers and nano-techno-oak in the 25th Century, damn straight!

Here's a vid I came across, I mean I liked it, but not that much, anyway it's interesting how there is time reversibility on the small scale: Fluids everywhere: flows on all scales by Julia Mary Yeomans

So, my benefactor/mother has recently passed, and as a consequence I no longer have the luxury to devote much time to innovation. If anyone has any tips about how to receive Universal Basic Income or anything of the sort that would free me from the grind of trying to secure the most basic necessities, please see my contact details: http://www.xirja.com/contact.html

I would love to be able to devote as much time as I have over the past few years here, but for the foreseeable future I'll probably be checking in only a few times a year. I really appreciate all the positive feedback I've received and want to continue to innovate, but for the mean time grrrrrr....
