Love the depth and cut outs. I would like to see that with out the thin lines.

Also there will be a grungy scifi look possible in Channel Ten as well...

That works really well at reducing the colors and still results in good detail.

Is it possible to set the number/approx number of colors and perhaps enter specific color values?

I've used a method to reduce the palette before, but don't recall exactly what it was. Maybe it was the curves filter with stairs ... there are probably a few ways to do this.

Going a little further with the modifications to Edge Echo. For now it's Echo Mask. Here is a real world sample called Rose Echo 2.

Is there a way to have a drop shadow adjustment option between echos?
I say option becuase it would probably be slower, but still nice to have for added appearance of depth.

"option to increase or decrease the shadow" overall ecohs at once with same setting across all ecohs

love the Echo Mask stuff. have you published that one yet?

Thank you Erica! I've been putting together filters for several years here at Filter Forge. I create many of these filters for myself and specific projects and I always appreciate feedback.

The inability to post pictures may have to do with the size of your images. Assuming you are using "Attach a file-Browse..." to add images. The limit for attached images is 1 megabyte and must be .jpg, .jpeg, or .png (as far as I know). To make this limit, I size most of my images down to between 1000 and 1400 pixels width, then pick the .jpg compression value that fits just under the 1 megabyte limit. NOTE: The Image button is used to post external images already at another website.

Also trying a different browser might help.

Well, I spoke too soon, as now 3 of my images have been posted in the gallery all at once... I'll now post 1 done with the echo mask there until I've got the prob sorted with posting here.

... and another more "painterly" one. This is unbelievably slow, too much processing per brush stroke... definitely not releasable...
