WOW! This example shown looks really cool and amazing how it looks like eroded stone and gives a very nice, lovely and interesting effect, like it much, well done

Seeing it, I really seems unbelievable that the source can be the FF lifesaver!

Here's a teaser SpaceRay smile;) Calling this Many Polygons, might or might not release it. Works pretty well with squares and pentagons. Triangles look good, but don't pack that well.

Hey! Very interesting. Great stuff! smile:D I love bomber filters. smile:) I have a kaleidoscope bomber filter that I've been working on the past few days that's just about ready to go. I know a that a lot of people get bored with all the kaleidoscope filters but I really love the balanced images they make. Keep up the good work! smile:D smile;)

Oh! YES I already thought that the ellipse component could be replaced with the polygon tool to get more shapes other than spheres, but these are not in 3D, they are flat, although it looks good also

Well done and nice

What I also thought is that the shapes can be combined (I mean that as there is 4 bombers, have 4 different polygons shapes, or even better maybe is to have a randomized polygon shape option with a remapping limit to 6 or 7 sides perhaps

I had thought of mixing shapes, but the idea with this filter was to lower overlapping where possible. I had to fine tune each shape and play with the packing amount. With triangles it is much more difficult to "pack" properly. Perhaps I will allow for a random shape option, will sleep on it. smile:hammer:

UPDATE: I am going to work on the shadowing as well. I have an idea for an improvement.

For anyone interested in Many Polygons, I will post it here. I'm not going to release it to the library. I was never satisfied with the packing & depth of triangles and pentagons. It is interesting, and is very similar to Many Circles.

NOTE: This is a FF 6 filter and will not work with earlier versions.

Cool and well done

Spherical wrapped images fun experiments, this remembers me when I made also something similar with Morgantao Ball Pit as shown here

The big difference is that here there is much better control of the positioning of the sphere and is much less overlapping, the distribution is better, and there is different sphere sizes
