WOW! This example shown looks really cool and amazing how it looks like eroded stone and gives a very nice, lovely and interesting effect, like it much, well done Seeing it, I really seems unbelievable that the source can be the FF lifesaver! |

From some ideas thrown around in this discussion, here is Many Circles.

Oh! YES I already thought that the ellipse component could be replaced with the polygon tool to get more shapes other than spheres, but these are not in 3D, they are flat, although it looks good also
Well done and nice What I also thought is that the shapes can be combined (I mean that as there is 4 bombers, have 4 different polygons shapes, or even better maybe is to have a randomized polygon shape option with a remapping limit to 6 or 7 sides perhaps |

I had thought of mixing shapes, but the idea with this filter was to lower overlapping where possible. I had to fine tune each shape and play with the packing amount. With triangles it is much more difficult to "pack" properly. Perhaps I will allow for a random shape option, will sleep on it.
![]() UPDATE: I am going to work on the shadowing as well. I have an idea for an improvement. Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

For anyone interested in Many Polygons, I will post it here. I'm not going to release it to the library. I was never satisfied with the packing & depth of triangles and pentagons. It is interesting, and is very similar to Many Circles.
NOTE: This is a FF 6 filter and will not work with earlier versions. Many Polygons.ffxml Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

Cool and well done
Spherical wrapped images fun experiments, this remembers me when I made also something similar with Morgantao Ball Pit as shown here The big difference is that here there is much better control of the positioning of the sphere and is much less overlapping, the distribution is better, and there is different sphere sizes |
