WOW!! Are you back ? Really ? Are you going to stay or this is only a visit? smile:D

If yes, I am glad and is good to see you back.Welcome back again. smile:banana: smile:ff:

I have found your lost forgotten treasures in very old threads thanks to Ghislaine that had the spirograph idea and Skybase that have shown your great and beautiful unreleased Spirograph filter, and then Morgantao wanted to find lost unreleased filters and I discovered MUCH more threads and lost filters from you and others.

See this thread here that is the one that started this.

Hi uberzev ! We don't know each other because you took a year off before that I came here. I was working on spirograms after what few users have mentioned your name and filters. I love your work. Example :

Uberzev's universe

Love in particular thoses images below. And I wonder if you can give an help for the creation of these images (below).

I hope that you will not pass here as the wind but you will stay hanged.

The real problem with this filter is that it's got 120 nodes, not including user controls.
Also, a 600x600 picture can take up to 72 seconds to render.

Uberzev, I'd LOVE to hear that you have found a better way of doing this. I bet your version of this filter only has around 15 components. smile:D

That's an in-progress filter. Not happy with the limitations of it right now...

(Inspired by this Adobe Illustrator Effect...)

Thanks uberzev. I look forward for this wonder.

Thanks for the link. Love abstract backgrounds. I do not have Adobe Illustrator. That is the reason I need to create my own filters and try to get the same effect.

The black and white filter is not in the gallery.
I just made it last night after seeing your posts here.

Now that Uberzev is back, it's his call whether this filter should be in the library.

So, Uberzev, do you want to upload your original filter? smile;)

Release your version if you want. You figured it out. smile:)

Most of the filters I make never get submitted due to my ridiculously high standards. In this case I felt the internals were too convoluted and I wasn't happy with the amount of customization available to the user.

Oh, and how about uploading some sub-standard old junk filters that are way beyond most of the people here (Me included)? smile:D

I see what you mean... I thought I had it all figured out, then I found a major loophole that can mess things up real bad. smile:|
Solutions are either to add about 30 extra nodes to try to anticipate the users every move, or add a new control that the user needs to set when things go wrong. smile:hammer:

The screenshot looks like one of the results....
Are you using a script to blend them all togather? Nice that you can cram so many into one component.

No scripting, that's over my head.

Had to do it manually smile:evil: , which incidentally has inspired a new feature suggestion (posting now).

Hey guys I'd appreciate it for some feedback on my feature/scripting request which relates to my translucent ribbon (and many other potential filters)...

This one needs some work but the idea is too make the cubes smaller where there is more image detail...

Thanks.

Here's Cuberism if anyone wants to play with it.

Please ignore all the "Repeat" user controls. They'll only mess things up. You can use the Size slider if you like.
