Nice job, you've discovered a new technique there.
It appears to be slightly faster than Flex Tiling uberEDITION, great job! Minor suggestions... *You can set the blending mode to normal. *You can turn off remapping. |

(BTW the blend is still set to 'Luminosity', I know it doesn't really matter but you might as well change it to 'Normal') |

Sweet now there are several super simple methods --I like how you did that with curves it gives me some DISTURBING ideas
