Been scratching my head at this one for several days now. It is probably quite simple, but I just don't see it at the moment. What I am after is perspectively distorting the source image on the left into something as shown in the right image. The middle one shows where I am so far, and it seems I am not even close. With offsets and gradients, I would always get 'curvy' distortions, not straight ones. Anyone care to take up the challenge?

Well maybe that's not true. I do have one idea yet but it involves doing some perspective distortion to the offset gradient itself.
EDIT: Yeah. And apparently my solution for fixing the curve doesn't work as you apply distortion to the gradient. |
