I didn't see any non-texture curtains in the filter library though, so I thought I'd mess around a bit.

nice! these are effect types, not texture types? interesting.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

----Well, they are not 100% "effects", because they use Perlin Noise, which by FF standards defines them as "texture" (rather than a filter with no noise and an image input component). They do not use the lighting, the filter is *simple*, not *surface*, so I do not consider it a ""texture"" filter ha-ha.

jffe, i dont think having a perlin makes it a texture. i think the only distinction FF makes in regards to whether it's a 'texture' or an 'effect' is if you've got an image type component within the filter. and that's why i was wondering if this is a texture or effect type, since i dont see the life preserver showing through at all on these.

That blue is really pretty and plain satiny curtains would be very nice to use.

----Thanks. smile:) It's still in the works. Apparently the Sphinx person (I dunno anyone's real name ha-ha) is also working on similar techniques, just fancier and not plain old "curtains" ha-ha.
