Turning into stone, in despair

Here I used both "Sandstone" by astgtciv, and one of my favs "Wet stone" by Vladimir, as layers on the image of the man

i'd love to see the original image.

also, i'd love to see the foreground, (the man) as stone and the background as not. that could be quite striking. or even a little more separation in the two, with one sort of bleeding into the other. i know you have that now, but i mean where one is stronger 'stone' and the other not, but the one bleeding into the other.

but, even as is, i do like the brush stroke look here and the overall effect.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

ah, the original is not what i expected. interesting. and thanks smile:)

yes, with the foreground being so similar to the background, it might be hard to separate them out in FF.

Gunsan I really like the way this image turned out, your handling of it really does visualize the feeling despair, and torment too.

Gunsan, I like the direction of this.... Personally, I'd like to see more of the figure in stone and less of the surface effect....but that's just me smile:)
