Yeah, render speed is one of my main issues, making filters.
This one though, the less grass there is, the quicker it renders.

i dont quite get all the white stinginess here in this.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

hi aurum,

stringiness, as in strings. it appears to my eye, especially in the default preset, that there are a lot of tiny, cut, little whitish strings all over. sorry, looks like i missed the 'r' in stringiness. i know it's supposed to be grass, but it looks more like little pieces of string to me.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Ah, I see. Well this is the closest thing I could come up with to grass.
I wasn't a huge fan of all the other "grass" filters here,
as many of them are just high-density noise.
So, I figured I'd try to do one made up of 'blades of grass'.
