Is there something in particular I should add?

Craig,

Yeah, I like the pitted metal, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm working for a better hammered effect. Addtional textures could be plugged in.. there is already room on the switch.

They don't show up on the web page but when you download the filter the are there. I'll get right on additional presets!

It's a good thing everyone else is NOT as stupid as I am.

Thanks!

Don't worry about others not making more presets for personal use from your filter. This gives them 20 stock factory presets chosen by the author of the filter (and the author of the filter has the best eye for the filter because they created it).

On top of 20 presets they can continue to add and create variations off the ones you offer.

For the good comments. I resubmitted it this morning with maximum presets. I included the pitted metal example from Users Gallery

I think it's the shadows that do it. Especially if you offset them unequally (example: horizontal=29 vertical=7). If you turn them off it just does'nt look as realistic, although shadows off works better for 3-D.

At the end description it says 'Includes 20 Presets'... so I clicked on download... to see if I couldn't hurry an upgrade,, LOL...

still 10 presets...

upgrades can take awhile so I wouldn't sweat it... 24 or 24+ hours...

Delete the one you have in your library and then download it. That is what I have been having to do.

If you have your preferences, or options set up, you should be getting a notifier box to pop up when you open FF asking if you want to look for updated or upgraded filters or components for FF. Then you just click Yes and you get a list of what's been updated if it's a filter you already have, and it re-writes over the old one. That's how it works for me smile:)

Persidio,
Glad you like the extra presets. Hopefully others will too. I'm going to try to add extra presets to my other filters too, cause you're right

Well, got a couple more on the burner and I have only one high use filter and the clock is tickin' so I'd better get back to it.

Hey, where do you get all those smileys?

They can always add more filters over the 20 mark. Also when I get a filter loaded with 20 presets it tells me the author went that extra mile... says 'quality'... if the author put extra attention into detail in that aspect ... they most likely also put attention to detail in the creation of the filter.

We are in the same boat then... I have two HU's and my trial expires in a few days... extensions are all used up... I'll be posting in the forums just locked out of FF... LOL. Life is cruel!

my trouble isnt making 20 presets; it's limiting it to 20 presets smile:) (the monster currently has over 200)

This is still a classy/classic filter, I can't believe it hasn't gone HU, or did it ? (Since HU filters don't necessarily stay ranked as HU.) Anyways, I'm a little late here, but congrats, a really nice looking filter. smile:)
