Great work jffe,

I like this one alot as well, I have a modded one I have used but this second version
looks even better!
at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

----Thanks. smile:) The first one is just like the basic way to get that kind of effect. The 2nd one is way more technical in comparison, and while it still reaches about the same range of effect, you have much more control over it now.

----Umm, o.k., ha-ha, it's really just supposed to have 2 parts, embossing, and a kind of spray painted look, the real difference now is, it's done better, and you can blend those 2 things. smile:)

well, the default preset has quite an interesting look. almost gelatin-like or somewhat celephane. nice effect.

I really like this filter! The effect is simply ethereal! Glad to see how you've improved it in the second version as well! I can't wait to try this filter on some scenery pictures, maybe get a nice ghost forest emboss ^_^

----Thanks. smile:) I totally rebuilt it inside, it does the same kind of fx, but with a considerably different way of doing it, so more control now. I was kind of aiming for low-fi sci-fi, and I'd like to think it wasn't too far off ha-ha. smile:D

Well, not to brag, but like I said, the first one was more an accident, the 2nd one was made to be similar with much more control. Glad you are liking it either way. I thought it produced some very unique results, while having a fairly slim range, unique is always what counts with me, and it's always nice to hear someone else has noticed it etc. smile:)

Oh, I have!!! smile:) The effect like in the cup pic actually sells as fine art. No one except for you probably believes me.....but the more unique and unpredictable the better.....especially in todays art world.....

Have you ever thought of making your own art from these filters???

----I have, and released it as what people call "wallpapers" on torrent sites. I have several "unreleased" filters, and a decent sized example/wallpaper collection. No replies in several thousand downloads. So yeah, selling "art" prints or whatever, is obviously 90%+ political/social, and those are things I'm not ha-ha. I'd sell out in a minute, been trying for years with the muzak, just not interested in selling used cars or "art" eh. smile;)
