Beautiful effect, CF. Now I shall promptly rip you off, I mean study the mechanics of your filter for my own edification.
![]() Seriously though, very, very nice effect. Jim Neumann BLUEFROG |

Wow... I didn't know at first, but it seems that Glasstic actually is in fact a real life material (And for some unknown reason, a lot of Japanese sites pop up when I search for it on Google). I really like this filter, it makes some very colorful shiny patterns that I could see as being excellent for character concept backgrounds in my illustrations ^_^

Ahahahaha, it's pretty awesome when finds like that occur ^_^ Thanks for the link voldemort! Oh, that reminds me, Torley mentioned once in regards to a filter something about "transparent aluminum" -- apparently another originally fictional material popularized in Star Trek that actually now exists in real life in some incarnation or another -- isn't technology wonderful ^_^. I wonder if we can invent orihalcon and mithril sometime ^_^

Yeah I they have expanded the scope of transparent metals recently so there are quite a few now but I still havnt seen any in use in production
the flexible cheap displays are the ones Im worried about great now when I go to get groceries Every single product is going to be streaming some crazy commercial or add at me just what I need ![]() I am curious where that will lead but so many inventions neversee the light of day this one http://hardware.slashdot.org/article..../26/140240 has more potential the people realize if one shape can represent 1million different combinations of 0's and 1's then yeah you could compress massive gigabytes of information this way used as a compression agent you could take 25 gigs and compress it to a few mb I even emailed the inventor to lay out how to expand the technique and to encourage him to patent it--havnt heard any thing else about it but imagine being able to stream an entire move 25gigs in a few minutes on dial up ![]() lets all whine for a wine port |
