Hmmmm weird I wonder why it started this thread, I didn't click through to view comments (!?). I was just looking at the filters in multiple tabs of my web browser. My apologies for any inconvenience.
In any case, I was just checking to read all of Zephos' filter descriptions, his documentation is soooo funneh. I've been using Manga Kata in an unorthodox context: using it to generate grain on pseudo-natural textures. The speedlines are fun for actiony-type things, it's kinda like someone's rushing at you with a ninja sword. I'm enjoying using Filter Forge to create http://torley.com/textures |

Hi Torley! Thank you for checking out Manga Kata! It was one of my original favorite filters that I created and also to date, my most download filter -- to which I would like to thank all who've tried it with my greatest sincerity! ~^_^~ Arigatooooooouuu!
Manga Kata Lv2 should already be in the works and completely rebuilds the filter from the base up and not just allows a dozen different types of screen tones, but hundreds of possible base combination, including some novelty ones like snowflakes and flowers for good measures. Also, despite what the description on Manga Kata says, I decided to have Manga Waza be a built in feature to Manga Kata. It's one of my major filter projects though, so I hope to finish it before my trial runs out, ahahaha *sweatdrop* ~^_^~ -Zephos |

This filter is absolutely brilliant! It is great to use in combination with Zephos' Sketch Cleaner filter. Zephos created several fantastic filters, and it is so unfortunate that he (she?) is no longer active here.
