No problem Though I still havnt found a good solution for auto masking the effect I might have to start this one over from scratch

It feels good to finally understand how to zoom in and out.
![]() But yeah, auto-masking it does seem to be odd... I was messing around with your filter using a "frame" component, and found that I could get an alpha from the "frame width" to auto-follow the shrinking as I moved the "distort intensity" between 33 and 66... I'll try to attach my experiment below. BTW, in the filter, the "frame width" slider needs to be on about 23 for the auto-follow while you move "distort intensity" slider between the 33 and 66 range. (Also there's a semi-alpha/gray frame too, but it was just there for my experiments.) Anyway, even if this doesn't help you, it was interesting just messing around... zoom and shrink snippetALPH.ffxml |

I did some remapping, so it would be easier to see the alpha-mask shrinking with the "distort intensity" slider.
