Yeah I stumbled on to this one experimenting a bit and was thinking "Wow! This is a keeper."

If you added some nice bullet impacts to the concrete surface under the plaster as well, the whole thing might become even more credible. And maybe some smoke stains...

Wow Rich you hit the exact effect Ive been looking for except I was going to use cells in bacteria form to create splash effects instead for blood decals
You are definatly making fast and far strides and since Ive allready borrowed your concept form the star field I hate to borrow another and just be copying everything you do Great Job looks awesone ![]() lets all whine for a wine port |

niceeeee!!!! the only comment i have is that it is too uniform.. if some of the holes would be masked out with another texture maybe? otherwise excelent!!!

I agree.
This filter is one of my least refined as I just stumbled on to the effect and was in a bit of a hurry to share it with everyone. In all reality it could use another run through and a subsequent update. I think while the result sure looks cool, the controls are crap. All you can do is pick a color and it hardly seems very flexible like that. At any rate, thanks for your comments. ![]() |

Perhaps add a few elements, like posters, windows, prisoners against the wall.. you know, that sort of thing. Some debris in the foreground would be nice too.
hehe... all joking aside, thats one awsum filter! Nice work! the artist formerly known as Bongo51 |

I find it sad that Richard left so soon after starting with this I knew him from Doom3world.org where I had written a plethora of tutorials and that guy was super sharp --im curious what he would have turned out given more time with this software
A lot of new tallent is obviously displaying there stuff of late but it seems a lot of good talent has also left ![]() lets all whine for a wine port |

Wow!... now in retrospect, I'm surprised I didn't look to this filter for reference when creating the bullet effect for Sniper. There sure were a lot of incredible Filter Forgers who've come before us to take note of -- glad that we still have voldemort around ^_^

incredible stuff. really useful for what i'm doing. could of had some more sliders to edit how much damage there is but i'm guessing its more difficult than it sounds. Good Job.
Excuse me, your in my crosshairs. |

AidSta- I modded this to do what you need- lemme find it
Transparent parts fill in the holes so youll have to find something good to fill it. BlockFilter.ffxml |
