I removed my best ones as no one else liked them enough to even download them. Like my goth filters and my corrosion filters. I will make textures from them and maybe sell them. I have been putting together a very large fabric texture pack that I plan to sell. Making them with filters I never uploaded.

I do believe it is the biggest album in the history of the universe. 'Run Like Hell' is my favorite single though. Then again, I don't know, naming a fav is really really hard. @ronviers

Yes. and now I've changed my mind about submitting it. It was not ready and I will come back to it - maybe next week. Actually the problems is that if I make it really nice then it's slow. So I will come back to it when I'm in the mood for debugging. I'm glad I didn't post it.

I have some that are really slow too, but when I tried to speed them up it took away from the quality. I removed them from the library since I seem to be the only one who liked those anyway. I don't mind if a filter is slow if it's a really good filter.

Angelboii's Floor Metal plate o2 takes [ I'm actually waiting to see how long and it's still going ][ mmmmmm still waiting ] 3 min 35 sec on a quad core and it an editor pick HU, it was a very early filter and I doubt Vlad would pick slow ones any more - HU in my opion are usually fast or at least not slow I'l have to have a check on my own I'm not sure of hand - you can create some beauties when you don't worry about time and you can only dumb down a version to submit or not submit which I've got a few like that one that I remember making took 17 min on my old single core - I'd say the majority of my HU are faster - thats definatly what Vlad wants - anyway I'll have a look and get back to you - what about you Ron and Ahimsa

The filter i didn't submit due to speed used only two perlins and a distort (which is another perling (i think)). I would post it but it might be uncool to post a filter in Carl's thread. @ronviers

Craig, that is really nice. Is that from your "fabric" filter? Looks like star fruit in the centers.
I think it was jffe that had me lower details on the perlin and that helped speed things up.

Well, since you *did* twist my arm.
One of the cool things about it is that the tile surface and be knocked out to transparency so only the pit remains – I think that would make it very usable. unfortunately it has an almost 20 minute render time. @ronviers

Oh, and the pit can be huge or tiny, or even none. and three pit colors!
Plus I have it so the user can trade the HDRI surface reflects for metallic for seamless tiling. and since the pit can be removed, an entire wall, or large surface, could be created with only the occasional pit.
It had to be alien blood that could eat through high carbon/chrome/nickel steel like that. Btw, the suface color can be change - not just silver. @ronviers

Thank Carl. My head's back into rigging now so it is on the shelf.
I just successfully rigged a hand to grip using mel. Now I know I'm not the man; but for a few minutes, after I moved the slider and saw the hand actually grip, I felt like the man. @ronviers

We are not even close. It's not Maya it's 3d. That rabbit hole goes really deep. It's like 2d but with one more d. A whole nother d! Two more really because with animation you add time so it's 4d in a way.
