I lived in Norcross - I loved it there. |
Atlanta was okay...
A drunk driver hit me in Atlanta... she came in my lane head-on... totalled the car. Wouldn't be alive if I had not been wearing a seatbelt. I was working three jobs at the time... in my 20's... and generally going thru a tough time in my personal life. (Was teaching Aerobics, working in a health food store and waitressing... what can I say,,, was only 21 or 22)... was working alot. This was such a long time ago,,, LOL.
I started running on the Chattahoochee. At the end of my route was a large tree branch that stretched out over the water. So I'd climb up there after my run and watch the inner tubes go by on the river. Also luved Stone Mountain.
After Atlanta I moved to Florida... so the best thing about me for Georgia is that it was close to Florida... Florida was good!~ In Florida I lived on the beach (Casey Key)... Sunsets were wonderful.

Here's a little something I created using your Abalone Designs filter, Persidio.
The preset brought back some B Movie nostalgia for me, so this is what I came up with ~Foxxee~
You are more than welcome to use and learn from my FF filters ;)

Great thread and filter.
I love living in the country and would never live in a city again. I seem to only be able to grow roses and mints. No pics here.
Definately enjoyed looking at all the pics in this thread. Don't stop.
Oh, and I love garden snakes. I pick them up and let them wind around my arm. I like snakes though so that's why. And lizards, and frogs, and other stuff.

Same here, Ahimsa. I even had a pet Garden Snake when I was about 12, she had a cardboard box and water and bugs. One day I looked in on her and she had about 20 little black babies... no egg shells! They were live-bared
Anyway, glad you like the image sample I did for you, Persidio. Forgot to mention I added EyeCandy Rain Drops to make the BLOB yuckier, and glass to enclose the lady as if she were trying to get out before she got slimed ~Foxxee~

Are they all poisoness? I live in Washington state and this side of the Cascades the only thing to worry about are recluse spiders (very rare) and black widow spiders (also very rare).

Yes everything - flora and fauna. I could go lay down in the yard and die. @ronviers

If you googlemaps Sayre Ok, you will see the spot that if there was a bright spot in the universe it would be the place that it was furthest from. The people are worse - redneck hillbillies that love dog fights, Bush and the Bible. @ronviers

Oh I let them go back into the field across the street from where I grew up... I'm sort of that way, like to see things for awhile close up, get to know them and then let them go again ~Foxxee~

Run from there as fast as you can! Sounds bad there.

Same here. Paul can get wild birds to come to him. One night he brought in a screech owl. That bird was so beautiful! He was very calm in here with us and let us pet and hold him. I'm great with buffalo, cattle, wild boar (they weren't really wild anymore), goats, and animals like that.

We don't have much time left Persidio. I asked in an earlier thread but you must have missed it - or maybe I missed your reply but are you going to request another extension? I think they may give us one. @ronviers

I can't... (was told on my last one that was it... and they were very nice... because of the circumstances that came up to keep me away from filter forge for a they ended up giving me a little more time over the 90 days... so I'm not complaining... they've been very nice. I did miss over a month and a half due to personal reasons...) however I will be here chatting just the same... I just won't be able to get into FF to use filters or to create them.
I need one more HU if you feel like using any of my older filters,,, LOL.
I guess I'll just have to hope one of the latest ones becomes an HU... Revelation can ask for an extension ... although I don't use his computer... it's on the bistro and the seat is uncomfortable... and they may not give him an extension because he's in the same house with me... he hasn't asked yet... and I can't create filters under his nick... suppose I could beg him to use my filters... Seriously have to sit on a stool to use that computer and I like my comfy chair and desk to go sit behind his computer. Ya' know...

Believe the boar are still wild in Lousisana ... had a friend once that was chased into a tree by one. Pretty sure it was a bore, LOL.
That's when I lived in Texas.
Of course everything is wild in the south.
Amazing he can get wild birds to come to him!
Paul is retired Navy right?
