After making the triangle build that you can see here and the square tiling that is shown here, now is the Hexagonal tiling of the Q-Rotor triangle
At the end of previous page are available the filters to do them yourself here in this link ![]() |

And now after the 2D, comes the 3D cubes version using the awesome 3D cubes from ©uberism Mapped by Uberzev

I mean that the triangles, because of their shape, cannot use the flip. Otherwise, as you also tested, you get that spike that is not nice to see. Only the squares can be used having the rotation fitting with the flip option. |

You made very nice variations. I will try them. Thank you for posting them here.

I made a new rotor filter based on your idea to use a triangle. Differently from your example, I deleted the chance to have different color for every stripe. I kept just 3. I also limited the size to only 3 stages. And I used a combination of Bomber and Offset components to create the patterns. I uploaded it today. ![]() |

Cool and very well done the first two, like it. Do not like thethe third example, it looks like the triangles are trembling and scared. and very good also the 4th example on the tiling |

Thanks.
![]() I guessed you don't like the third preset. I know you prefer more neat results. Anyway the distortion is just an option, not the main way of the filter. I'm also thinking about the chance to do a filter where the triangles compose squares, then use the same system of the Q-Rotor. But let's see. If I do too many filters on the same style, it may be boring. |
