Very interesting, CF.....variation 2 looks alot like fractals in a vortex tile..... smile8) smile8) smile8)

Yeah I was wondering about that, why is my post gone? Before I saw your response I assumed
I had forgotten to post it after reading the preview. That is slightly troubling.
I don't believe I wrote anything controversial.

Anyhow, I stayed up late playing with it and used some components to make a new filter.
Not as fancy as yours but still kinda cool I think. smile:)
Some samples...



at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

ooooo..I really like that first one..Its like a plastic swirl.. smile:)

I think maybe it was deleted because it was a straight post instead of using the comments link in the filter...But ya I didn't see anything else to warrant the deletion other than that... smile:|

hehe, CF, i was sort of teasing you when i mentioned the anaglyph, but now that i've seen what you did with the swirls...wow! if you folks dont have 3d glasses, go get some! these are well worth looking at! very cool, CF!

i'd like your permission to post those two on retouchpro, CF.

and infini, i like the second one best. very modern art.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Thanks again Craig and yes you absolutely have my permission for posting these two on Retouch....Well still can't produce that perfect Anaglyph filter for photos but at least we can do lots of experimentation.... smile;) smile:D

IIRC, they run a 'housecleaning' bot on the 'Filter Comments' forum every few hours that deletes comment threads not linked to filters or those with zero posts in it.

and i dont know about perfect, but those are pretty damn good. you've got em popping up there quite nicely and as a swirl! i'm impressed smile:)

I did put a link to his filter in the post, I did not put a pic of it tho, I guess I need practice commenting on filters, hehe.

i put this in my gallery space on retouchpro. that was the only place i could put it where i didnt have to compress it and non-members can view it. so, here's the link: http://www.retouchpro.com/gallery/sho...69&cat=500 and thanks smile:)

i'm curious, how did you get that so good? what are you doing to make the anaglyphs these days?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
