this is little more than a blur and brighten filter. it is not hdri. and whereas it can produce some nice effects, it doesnt really simulate hdri.
i've experimented with creating an hdri filter in FF. you have to separate the highs from the lows, use some high pass and recombine to even come close. at least, that's what i've found so far. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

sorry if i came off a bit harsh or critical there. was in a horrible mood yesterday, but as the guy on 'Night Court' used to say, 'but i'm feeling much better now!'
