Nice work. Right up my alley. Have you thought of a drop shadow (or a dark outer glow)? just a thought, probably will slow it down.

Here's a few settings changed from the default preview:

Thanks.. smile:) Thought about that and with that nested loop it does not play nice with shadow methods.
