First submission, so please be lenient with me.
This filter adds ambient dust particles to images, as realistic looking as possible. Like in real photography, those particles will appear only in the highlighted areas of an image. So it works best, if there's some bright light source and stark contrast on the picture (e. g. stage photos with spotlights, car images with headlights on and suchlike). Very flexible as you can adjust the opacity for the whole overlay for the different dust layers (far/small, middle, close/big) separately and—of course—the size of the dust particles. Here's an example with standard settings and no additional edits: ![]() ![]() »A designer's job is to improve the general quality of life. In fact, it's the only reason for our existence.«

Cool and original idea
Is a pity that the presets thumbnails does not show really what it can do, very good example showing what it really can do. |

Thanks.
Indeed, I'd have preferred to add a more meaningful thumbnail rather than that life ring. I always thought that the standard image might work well for a lot of filters, e. g. those which use distortion or fancy colouring. But especially the "photo" section of the filters often require a different source in order to showcase the true powers of a filter. The life ring image simply lacks some range of colours or lighting as to me it's more an example for an illustration not for a photo. »A designer's job is to improve the general quality of life. In fact, it's the only reason for our existence.«
