I'm glad you guys like it !
And yeah, that preset came out very cottony, almost like out of a children's book. Which is why that one is my favorite ! I really want to get the version 3 now, so I'll use the rest of my trial to make more neat filters so I can hopefully get enough HU. (maybe I should focus on making a little more actually useful filters, though...) |

You could illustrate a whole series! "The Little Euglena That Could" "Monera in the Rain" "Charlotte's Flagella" "Horton Hears a Halophile" "Capsules for Sale" "If You Feed a Microorganism a Hydrocarbon" "Green Eggs and Salmonella" And so on... |

I think you are right, if you are searching to get enough HU and you have only the 30 days trial to do the filters, you should better focus on filters that could be used much more and that could be used more frequently and in more places. And more important is that you need to get the HU faster, I mean it must be used by a lot of people very much, so you should make something that man FF users could use more. Because you can make a beautiful, amazing and original filter, but if this is going to be used only often and sometimes, it could take a lot of time to get the HU. This filter is very well done and lovely, but I think that probably will not get a HU soon, at least, as soon as you want. |

True that. I got Filter Forge 1 by submitting filters during my trial period, but that did take quite a long time (maybe over half a year ?). I'll try making more usable filters, and maybe new versions of my old popular ones. On a side-note, my whale filter did get HU, which I really didn't expect since it's pretty slow and clunky and, let's be honest, not something that people need to use a lot.

----- ---------- --------------- Congratulations for the EP (Editor´s Pick) Reward that has been given to your filter. You were looking for a HU reward and have got something that is really more difficult to get that is an EP ![]() --------------- ---------- ------ --- Now your nice and cute filter belongs to the hall of fame of featured filters.
I think that probably Indigo Ray could make a reference to this book, "Horton hears a who!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horton_Hears_a_Who! BUT instead of a "who" he put Halophile ![]() I did not know that a Halophile is the following ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halophile Halophiles are extremophile organisms that thrive in environments with very high concentrations of salt. The name comes fr om the Greek for "salt-loving" as they need the salt to live. Please Indigo Ray correct me if I am wrong.
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-cu...nella.html http://www.egglandsbest.com/egglands-...cbad96dfd7 What is Salmonella and should I be concerned about eating eggs? Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) is an egg-borne infection wh ere bacteria can be found on the outside or inside of a shell egg. It emerged in the U.S.A. during the late 1980’s and is now strictly controlled and prevented by a number of procedures
If You Feed a Microorganism a Hydrocarbon, they can eat it !! ![]() These microbes can change the composition of oil and natural gas and can even control the release of some greenhouse gases. Understanding the role of microbes in consuming hydrocarbons may therefore help us access their role in the natural control of climate change Bacteria That Can Eat Hydrocarbons Found in China Microbes convert hydrocarbons to natural gas Oil-Eating Microbes Give Clue To Ancient Energy Source
Euglena are unicellular organisms classified into the Kingdom Protista, and the Phylum Euglenophyta. All euglena have chloroplasts and can make their own food by photosynthesis. They are not completely autotrophic though, euglena can also absorb food from their environment; euglena usually live in quiet ponds or puddles. http://www.biologycorner.com/workshee...color.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euglena These Euglena´s does not have eyes like the ones from Orteil, and also are much longer, and are transparent, so probably it would not be a good example to use the cute germ from Orteil ![]()
Monerans: Single celled organisim with no nucleus. http://biology.unm.edu/ccouncil/Biolo...gdoms.html http://biomesfirst10.wikispaces.com/T...rest+Facts SPORES These from orteil are cute and beautiful spores compared to the real ones as can be seen here |
