Skybase was telling me that he's getting slow rendering times with this filter. He said that @ 600x600 rez it was taking 2 minuets. I used this image (2732x1536 rez) and it renderd in around 3 minuets. That's nice and fast on my little computer.

Heh... I really don't know where that epic difference comes from. What are you computer specs?
However, in this filter you have median, blur, sharpen... and possibly flip contributing to longer render times. Median also had anti-alias enabled contributing to further render times. At least it comes out clean. Typically bitmap based components will render sluggishly on FF, otherwise many components run pretty darn fast. I'd just watch the render times. Personally, I avoid uploading filters that take more than 1 minute for a 600x600 render since many people don't necessarily have great computers. I donno cool filter anyway. |

A 600 x 600 file took 11 seconds.
A 4752 x 3168 file took 21 seconds for the preview to render and 10 minutes for the file to be saved to disk. Very nice filter. |

YES!
 I knew I wasn't going crazy.  I have a Lenovo B570 with a Pentium 2 processor & the default amount of RAM and this filter works fine for me. Thanx Mr. Adams. "Art is quite useless." Oscar Wilde |

Ooth I wonder where the issues are stemming from.
I'm starting to suspect something to do with the Mac version of FF? I do know FF's slightly slower on the Mac but NOT that slow. |
