I agree with Carl, These are getting more and more interesting and with beautiful and more complex and cool designs and adding many more possible alternatives and way to use them.
Thanks |

Another great looking filter, Gigi.
Lovely examples SpaceRay, I love how you show the different result you get by changing so little in the settings! |

Nice examples SR ! Your way to show how work this filter is excellent. Yesterday I did the same thing with a new filter to let users what can do a filter just by changing the tint color by an image and also changing the color of wireframe pattern by different images. Results are very surprising. And this mulpiplies possibilities. You can see what I mean by going in the wireframe thread. It is where I'm going to add some examples with the v5.
And I thank you all. ![]() SR, you can adjust the radius to get all the spirowire in the screen. You also can play with Shape size (increase or decrease just a bit... sometime it just takes more or less 1) for a best result if you want the entire spirowire on your images. visit https://gisoft.ca |

Glad you like them, I will make more.
Thanks, good to know I was wondering how would be possible to put all the spirowire inside the screen, and now I know. |

That is why I added those controls. You must know that sometime you just have to fix the radius (you go number by number to see if it is fitted) and othertime you have to also fix the shape size, or just the shape size without touching the radius.
And note that some other time, just by changing those preset by just a number can change your wireframe pattern. visit https://gisoft.ca |

Thanks Ghislaine I will further see how this works, and is true that changing slightly a number can get a different wireframe pattern and has many possible variations and ways to customize them.
I would suggest one possible thing, if it would be possible to get some kind of drop shadow so it would be possible to put a nice wireframe pattern in a light background, as now it works much better over a dark or very dark background. BACKGROUND TRANSPARENT ALPHA ? Or easier for you (and if it would be too difficult or complex perhaps to make a drop shadow in FF) would be better to be able to make the background transparent so you can have just the wireframe pattern and then you can add the drop shadow in Photoshop (or any other similar software that have it) as you can see below that I have removed the background and added a drop shadow ![]() |

Drop shadow should be easy, all you have to do is take the finished spirogram's Alpha, blur it a little, and blend it with the spirogram itself (with shadow on bottom).
That said, the ability to have a transparent backgound is allways a good idea in this kind of filters. |

I'm not hot with the idea to add more controls in this filter because this will slow the filter. I had to delete 2 controls for this reason. But Morgan is right in what he said.

Actually in both cases (Transparent backgound and drop shadow) you only need a checkbox to turn on\off.
The speed difference will only come to play when a feature is turned on. |

Hi Craig ! Glad that yoyu like this filter a lot.
Surprising is your request Craig ! Also glad that you ask me before. And what to reply on this ? Well, as it is a new filter, please, give me the opportunity to get a HU on this one (if I get one on it). After that, yes, if you want to post it on the forum, no problem. You know, I have already 4 HUs and it misses me just one HU for the life time upgrade. I'm sure that you will understand my point of view. ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |
