Repeat parameter multiplied?

Hi,

I'm studying various filters that are suggested in the wiki articles and I've noticed that if I add certain components, like Profile Gradient or Tile, the Repeat parameters are pre-multiplied. For example, with the gradient, Repeat can be set on 1 and it will still be repeated more than once. Is there a function or preset in some filters that produces this?

If I copy and paste a snippet into a new filter, the Repeat parameter works as expected.

I am not certain I understand what you mean, but you may be seeing the effect of the 'size pixel' slider - a global control that will make repeating things repeat. If tiling is enabled they will repeat seamlessly.

Thanks ronviers. That was it. Seems the default preset influences the filter editor.
