Let's sat I want to distort or warp an input image (a transformation component like offset) and run the results through the Tiles filter. Is there any way to reliably "undistort" the results of the former so I get a result similar more loyal to the original image, albeit with distorted tiling?
I hacked together an image of what I have in mind. I know it's not as simple as inverting or flipping the gradient I feed into the offset component (x and y.) ![]() |

For polar distortion there is a filter that you can experiment with.
But an all-around method would have to be specific to what the filter demands. The filter is Un-Spherify and you can give that a try. it will take some experimenting and tweaking to apply it to what you want.. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
