They are typically located in C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Filter Forge 8\My Filters.
The AppData folder is hidden by default in windows so you'll have to enable viewing of hidden files to find it or paste the edited version of the folder location listed above into the navigation bar on a Windows Explorer window. Usually, you can copy/paste the older version folder into the new version folder to merge them and it should be done. Be sure to backup the folder you overwrite beforehand though in case anything goes wrong. If you saved filters elsewhere such as some that you can download directly fr om forum pages you will have to locate those on your own. I would suspect in those cases they'd be where all your other downloaded files go. They are in .ffxml format if you need to search the computer for them. If you have a Mac I would imagine the procedure to be the same but have no clue wh ere they'd be located ![]() |
