Hello,

I'm desperately looking on how to do this ... Can this type of image be done in Filter Forge? I mean the main effect, not the blur and grain effects smile;-)

Thanks

You would probably want to use 3D software like Blender to model and render something like this.

Blender comes with an addon (Add Curve: Extra Objects) that can fill geometry with curves in various ways. Should be able to get fairly similar results. Here is a quick test.

I have also been looking much time about something like this, but until now have not been able to discover how it was done, I knew that I would need a 3D software but did not how to do it.

WOW! You have been able to show what is the secret behind this and it is with the free Blender 3D, thanks really much for this, although it would be also useful that you give some more details on how you have done your awesome example you have put

Searching in google how this can be done

Blender Add Curve Extra Objects fill geometry

I have only found this

Fill-a-surface-with-random-curves

Is this how is done?

Thanks very much for your help

I have also a similar question and I wonder how can be done something like this 3D dancer made with cubes and tubes or beams shown here below

It is told that the native software is ZBrush so is not done in Blender, but maybe it could be possible in some way to do it in Blender too.

Thanks very much for any possible suggestion or advice

here in this link are 9 different dancers made with cubes and tubes or beams

No problem.

SpaceRay, yup, that's it. Just enable the add-on in Edit - Preferences - Add-ons, select your geometry, and apply the desired effect. Works best with closed meshes, so you may want to pre-process your mesh for that.

As for the dancer model, you could use the wireframe modifier to extrude the mesh edges and vertex instancing to place the cubes. There are tons of great tutorials and guides on YouTube for learning Blender.
