How do I open the editor with the settings I have in my settings panel in normal use - so I am not in the editor, but want to open the editor with all the current settings and not with the Default preset?

The only way I have found is to make a new preset with my current settings A, apply the Default preset, make a copy of that preset, load preset with settings A, Update the Default preset with settings A and open the editor. And later of course wiggle the previous Default preset back into it's place.

There must be an easier way.

There is a shorter path:

Add current settings as new preset and open editor, click result node and select preset (took me a few years to find that smile:-D)

Just be aware that saving the filter will update the default preset with the settings you loaded / your changes, and not the active preset you just loaded. This actually qualifies as a bug IMO - it should update the loaded preset, not the default one.

Love you smile:-) thanks a million.
Works like a spell.

I had noticed that every save updates the Default preset, which is annoying and for me it counts as a bug as well.
