Pavements+

About all slaves in use for fetching colors at corners and center. It used both the Element slaves and the Cell slaves (Cell is the complete cell area, i.e. including "mortar" - element is the tile, after randomization).

I did some testing today and wanted to see how loops fair with the Bomber+...The regular bomber the loops did not do to well in speed...But they fair pretty decent with the Bomber+ as long as they are a simple loop.....This has 4 loops attached to the bomber+..

Since the tiles/pavement/bomber can all be considered loops, you could see it this way:

For each cell {
calculate width,
calulate height,
use the larger dimension and
scale input image (picked randomly from map switch)to that dimension then
center on cell
}

Default size takes 4.6 seconds on my machine. smile:)

I've started adding some daytime controls that are incomplete.

This should serve as the foundation for the next installment of my Skygen filters:

Changing the blend modes was definitely fun. I experimented with adding it as a control using copies of the bomber and switching between them, but because the slaves are tied to each bomber, I would have to copy the whole tree for each different blend mode :\

On another note, replacing the main cloud texture (Perlin with Sinewave curve) with a Worley noise like Stones was pretty fun.

Cool.. smile:)

I am stuck on stress testing the loop and bomber+ still.....I packed a cube in a loop and stacked the resulting cube in the bomber+....Don't know how useful this is but boy it is fun... smile:)

Then here is the filter...Just use the curve to shape the final stack....You can also add an image component and replace this curve shape to follow the image...

Very good idea to have a thread about the new upgraded components and give ideas on how to use them, and most important is to thank you for sharing the filter that makes it possible to learn how it was done, and how it works the new components.

Please, experts, experienced filter forgers, and FF gods, could be so kind to put more examples showing

How can these new components can be used

For what they can be used

What can be done now that before was not possible

Or what can be done now easier that before was difficult

Would be greatly appreciated and would help to beginners and normal users understand more the new PLUS features, specially the new bomber plus

Thanks fvery much or any help

Lol sweet clouds! I actually liked how they looked before I made the filter available. I think I tried to make them too billowy and ruined the realism. I think I have the older version still... Fun experiments though!

i think that the new plus components of FF may give new, useful, creative and expanded abilities that was not possible until now but what lacks is more ideas, suggestions, hints, tutorials or more filter using these new plus components to be able to use more and better this new plus components

Thanks for all the examples shown and hope that there could be more interesting, creative and useful examples of how to use the plus components

We are now in February 2020, 5 years after the last post, and there has not been any more examples shown, and think that it would be really great, useful and handy to have more examples of the plus components and how to use them in a creative way, as I am sorry that I still discovering and learning how it works as it seems to offer a big amount of creative options

Although this can be done of course already by the FF users as shown here, I think that it could also be really helpful and useful that the professional and experts of FF company helps more to promote and show what it really can be done with these plus components and open the world more of the plussabilities

Also if you know a filter that uses the plus components, would be good if you are so kind to put it here also

Thanks very much for any possible additional examples shown and help on using more the plus components
