Hi everyone, I am new to FilterForge and I am currently really impressed by what can be done with this plugin
![]() However, when I messed around in the filter editor I could not find a component, which actually "filters"; You know, basic LTI-filters via convolution... Does it maybe have a different name in FilterForge? |

Aside from the curve components, there is https://www.filterforge.com/more/help/...Curve.html
If you mean something along the lines of https://reference.wolfram.com/language...volve.html , then the only roll-your-own option is the map script, but beware at this time https://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...8&TID=7472 _____________________________________________________

Hi Xirja, thanks very much for your reply!
The function described at the wolfram.com-website is exactly what I was looking for. The map script would probably work, but I fear it might be too slow to be useful when implemented in a script language. I will do some tests ![]() IMO a fast convolution module would be a very nice addition to FF's native components, because you can do so many things with it (custom blurs, sharpeners and edge detectors, template matching etc); |

Further customization options would be nice, truly.
