Hi. I have been working with ArcTangent and ArcTangent2 for use of polar mapping...something similar to http://www.filterforge.com/filters/10577.html but I intend to use the ArcTangent to arrive at same result. I am certain my math is correct in the way I am using this function. Can someone who can confirm that ArcTangent/ArcTangent2 produces expected results?

Yeup, it works just as expected.
Some example inputs atan 4 = 75.96 degrees atan3/3 = 45 degrees Those values do come out as expected. Probably something to do with input. ![]() |
