Be very careful when writing and choosing the name of your submitted new filter because if the comments thread of your filter is created with that name, then after even if you modify and change the name for any reason, it will not be modified in the comments thread, and will keep the name of the first time you submitted it.

So check twice that you have written it right, and that this is the real and good name that you want to give to the new filter, as later would not be possible to change it, at least in the forum, unless GMM could be able to change it, but is not a good way and thing to bother him with this.

I put this thread because there are many filter examples in the FF library where this has happened and then it was late and has been changed in the filter but not on the forum

THIS IS ALSO THE SAME FOR ANY NEW THREAD TOO

By the way, this is also the same thing, when you are making a new thread in the forum, be careful that you right well the title before submitting the new thread as you will not be able to change it later

BTW this is mentioned in the filter guidelines: "No spelling errors" and "Filter Name should suggest the look and purpose of the filter."

OH, I have forgot that this was also on the filter guidelines, but is not said that:

It will be published even if it has spelling errors and that you will not be able to change it later

Opitcal Chaos 2

In version 1 and 3 is put Optical and not Opitcal

And this only one of the many examples I have seen in the FF Library

--------------

Also is not said that you can change the name of the filter, BUT it will not be changed in the forum comments page

GM Photo Windows by GalaxyMeridian

The filter has been updated and now has the name GM Photo Windows V.02 by GalaxyMeridian

But in the forum as is normal and the way it works, it will not be changed, so this is why you must be careful to choose the name right

i wonder if this keeps being the same and that you can't change the name of a filter after submitting even when submitting an update

I ask this because I think that I have seen a filter that before had another name, but maybe I am wrong, as I am not sure about it, so want to know if this still the same

i know that you can't modify in any way the title of a thread after submitting for the first time, but do not know if for filters is the same now or not
