This may be a baby question but what is the best way to get a Free Gradient to rotate in 90 degree increments the same way that the Profile Gradient does? I want to replace all the Profile Gradients in a filter but don't want to try to sort out all those rotations. I want play around with the XY Anchor available on the Free gradient to see if I can create a landscape mode version of a filter - right now only square and if I change the image there is an obvious line in the midddle. I guess I can feed all the Profile gradients into a Free Gradient but not sure if that is the best or only way as it would double the number of gradients.

Seems like there are so many ways to do the same thing in FF (in most great tools I guess). Thanks for the sample.

I want to thanks very much for the given filter to show how to get the same result of a Profile gradient with a Free Gradient and it works very well
Yes, I was trying to use rotate component to move the default angle of the free gradient but did not get exactly the same result, so I searched in the forum and found this thread with this great fix from you Size Independent Profile Gradient filter Size Independent Profile Gradient By Smacky I have also found this filter that may be another different way to do it |
