I know it's really simple, but I'm shooting blanks here... smile:evil:
What is the best way to offset an object (let's say a circle with radius 1) to the corner of the render area (x=0.5, y=0.5) so it's center is in the lower right corner, but without having it appear on the other corners?

Use a free ellipse/polygon, they don´t have that bad behaviour smile;-)

Actually the ellips was just an example, but I guess I can make it work with a free poligon/ellipse as alpha mask if there's no other way. smile:)

use rectangle to clip it (i.e. use your shape as input for the rect)
Njyldgarkn init/prepare process x no. of render blocks x no. of passes

Your looking at an object that is infinitely tiled in all directions so of course your going to see the other part of it when you offset it...

OK, now how would you do the opposite of that?
Now I have a bunch of objects set up in the frame, and I want to be able to scale them down and have them repeat. Is there a nice way of doing that, other than a bomber?

Yes.

Add a lookup component. Lookup X should be a 0 deg profile gradient, lookup Y should be a 90 deg profile gradient.
