Carl got concrete pretty good.....I don't know of any use for "concrete with wood pattern".....but easily done by blending any wood grain filter with carl's.... Steve

I put attempted because I didn't want to stiffle anyone from giving a filter their own go, but I must agree RawnArt's filter is great isn't it? |

I would love to see a really good cell shader type of filter, with nice clean lines, and none of that little blotchy stuff that shows up on most such filters.

I have searched, I have tried, and I would really really really be able to use a filter that could resize an image equal to the resizing of a frame. I.E. If you put a frame on a picture and connected a slider to the frame and a different output it would resize your image so it fit perfectly into the frame. That would be 1) difficult to do and 2) Extremely useful; so the challenge is out for however has the brains for the task.

i'm pretty horrible with shapes, but i came close once to one thing i'd like to see, twisted metal. take a flat piece of steel and put a twist on it, like you see with wrought iron fences and rails and such.. than take that flat, now twisted piece and curve it in another axis, leaving the twist intact. yeah, i'm very much thinking wrought iron here, but i've no idea how to work those twists and curves out.

Anyone into aging effects check out these filters: Machine Wash I-III.
Some sweet texture aging fx in there that practically scream for being ported to FF. ![]() A few previews... ![]() ![]() ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

+1 vote for the aging effects, also not sure if there is any already but would be nice to have -
text effect (effecting selected or black/white area) line art extractor (works on a pencil or pen art scan and outputs a crisp black line art with transparent background so ready to be colored/processed) panel maker, takes a b/w input, ranging from white to black whith the different colors representing a different height amount, then it gives it a smooth surface like plastic or metal, basically making it easy to make a panel/GUI background, more of a GUI type things but as you may have already ready read i see FF as having huge potential for being a great general graphics tool with a few updates it could be and i hope it evolves to be able to do more than just texture making. Vector element maker tools, like those abstract circles you see and stars and all sorts of useful shapes for use in designs like for example the circles and wavey lines like i used here - ![]() ![]() and all it would take is a click of the randomize button to make a whole range quickly, i did them in photoshop but im sure it's possible in FF already. |

Just had a quick try, not very good but along the same lines, just submitted it to the library, hasn't been added just yet though, doesn't look as natural though, you can change the background color and set its opacity so you can have a transparent background, i did start with another filter but i totaly changed it and the result is nothing like what it did before so hopefully its cool. With multi image loading we should be able to get results just like the images above you posted though with a similar method and some organic templates. ![]() |

They are added to the library now, also i made a scan lines effect like you see alot on website designs that may be useful

Hi there Just Bought FF a few days ago and been playimg with it pretty heavy.
I have one Idea and I am not sure if its possible with FF. It would be a Torn Metal Edge Effect. So you could say for example have some text riping through a background image.. Going to play some more and learn the program more to see what happens. Here is a very simple one I have been working on for part of my Vehicle wrap side of our business. Well as soon as I figure out how to post a pic on this board |

Hey Bill, what's to laugh at!?! That's a great looking page, and I see the use of some well-known filters being used in your Logo too. Nice job ![]() I wasn't able to keep up my own site (mostly for the DAZ and Bryce users) but if I were able to I'd be using FF filters exclusively now. Wish some of the examples were displayed here using a 3D scene or object. Working with the lighting and atmosphere enviroments can really make these textures pop right out at you ![]() ~Foxxee~
