I love how the Half timber wall does both doors and windows smile:)

And the bricks filter, HOLLY SMOKES! I wasn't even close to figuring this one out. Didn't even think about using bomber's size and repeat settings this way smile:|

You can also use your own window panes if I remember right.Still some things missing tho, like the wooden nails. I might do a proper version for release one day.

Here is another one which makes rags from your image. dunno if that would be useful to someone? Have to check if we got something like that.

Here´s the bricks, Morgan

Well done, this is much more complex that I could have thought, great work.

Thanks for uploading this pre-release version to see how is done

Also I have thought that as suggestion you can be able to have your own custom textures over the nice briks and stones you have done instead of only having your beautifully stone texture you have done, and is very easy to add the option for your own textures, I think.

I will put an example of this later

Feel free to use your customized version, but I will not implement that. It´s ment to be a texture filter once it´s finished and adding that option will just break the randomizer smile:-)

Another of my unsubmitted toys. Noise image mixer. Rather trivial filter, for me at least. I love the effects tho. should I submit that?

Good and nice examples, weird in some way how they look, and think that could be interesting and useful and make nice images.

When in doubt, release smile;)
You never know when this filter will save someone day, when it's exactly what he needs.

Besides, I like that noise thingy smile:)

Cool idea.
When you have the concept pegged, why not add image support, for that projector look, or the curch window look smile;)
Something along the lines of This, this, and this.

Yup, that feature was in from start, haven´t tried it yet but should work just as well as the noise. I´ll go look for a nice stained glass texture and test it smile;-)

Yes, it´s a silly experiment. Rather tricky to get all the body parts to move and overlap properly. Can´t avoid having to clean up the linework in PS for a really decent look. I have yet to add color and patterns to the whole thing.

The lion I postet was made with the same filter, I colored it in PS.

Here´s another one.

Magic! smile:D

Basically I´m doing the same as I would in Photoshop or Illustrator, just combine shapes and sprinkle in some noise for the handdrawn look.
The flowers started out with Voldemorts petal snippet. I needed a simple cartoony flower and couldn´t find anything in the library. Well me and making something simple...once I started playing with the snippet I found lots of funny stuff to add in. And I´m still not done smile:D

The animals are a lot more complex. It´s the same technique but you can pose them, so I have to find the correct rotation points for all the limbs and stuff. Making it work together perfectly is extremely tricky and there are still lots of places where it doesn´t work right.
I also haven´t done everything I want yet, for example they have now "fingers" yet.
And I already have more controls than fit in the maxed out window >-< smile:D
But with the new grouping options it will be so much easier to edit smile:D

Here is an illustration of moving the limbs around.

You just need to tweak the y and y values of the rotation component so they rotate around the right point.

Yeah, I figured that's how you did that.
I had an idea to make a cartoon filter that would be built pretty much the same, but I was too lazy to make it, as I knew it would be too complex for me to remember what the heck I was trying to do smile:D

Besides, there's no way it would have been as cute as yours!

Aww thx you two smile:blush: smile:)

I added coloring and a pattern. Still lots of work to be done but with the new group feature this has become so much easier. Grouping all the bodyparts gave me a much better overview of what´s going on. I was able to get rid of tons of unnecessary blends by reorganizing stuff and using multiblend. It also made some problems I had easier and gave me possible solutions for some unsolved ones. smile:D

Here´s a colored one.

Here´s a sheet with some animals. it doesn´t have much pattern variations yet. I also want to add in more head variations etc, but I´m still busy with sorting out the body parts behaviour.

Hi Shar !

I'm working on a winter scenes filter for now and it is a bit hard to finalize this. The problem is that I'm too perfectionnist. Well, my Alaskan volcano gives me problem LOL

My famous volcano gives me problem... Around the crater, lines are too ...

Oh but that´s a great start on your volcano! Do you mean the slightly blurred edge in the front?

Oh don´t say that, I´m sure your´s will be just as beautiful smile:-)

And I´m a horrible perfectionist myself with stuff like this. That´s why you most likely will never see the cartoonimals in the library. The filter has like 50 controls, that´s wayyy too much for normal users, I think they´d die from the shock of seeing them smile:D
But I´ll eventually post it here if I feel it´s good enough, and you guys can have a play with it smile:-) I guess I´ll make a "light" version with just a couple of fixed poses to choose from for the library.

Morgan has count 60 controls on one of my filters. So 50 for me... no problem. If you kake a light version, I would like to have your first version with the 50 controls. I will use this for sure in the monsters thread with a lot of fun and I'm sure that Gene will love it too.

If you have 50 controls, it is because it is necessary for that kind of stuff.

I will leave the volcano as is. But I do not like the straight lines each side of the crater. What you see at the front, it is an icyscape LOL. The second one was with snowyspace.

Haha yeah I bet Gene will go crazy with this once I make it available and surprise us with some unique creations smile:D where is Mardar hiding btw, haven´t seen her on in a while ?

Maybe you could cover the straight line up with blending another diffuse layer over that part?
