I'm kind of having a hard time mapping a pattern onto a sphere. I thought a Circular Arc with a Tile- or Frame component (sphere) as height into a Refraction component would do the trick but it doesn't. The edges look fine but for some reason the middle (which should have hardly any offset) tends to shrink a little.
The attached filter will show you the problem. It is clearly visible in pattern nr 4, the egg looks dented instead of round.
