FF 11 and FF 12 Studio animations that could maybe be done I think

Now that FF 12 is already available and you can be able to save directly as a video file output (in FF 11 only makes the frames output)

I thought to show some animations that maybe could be an inspiration for creating filters to make animations and I can put here some possible examples

Here is the first one

New Order - Crystal - With shapes scrolling background Awesome music by the way

Viewing this video I think that it could be possible to make a filter that renders separate parts of the background and then after join them together in editing video software

It could be done with the circle dots overlay or not

Here I have found some examples of possible animations

Textures or images could be cutout and mixed in animated way

Also to make cracks animations or other kind of fracturing or damaging

Artistic moving shapes

Here are some cool geometric shapes animation that I think could be done with FF

And another example of the previos animation is this one below but there are a lot of different variations through all the above video

Or this other more simple kaleidoscopic example using animated gradients that are available in FF

In FF you can make 3D shapes using gradients so I think that it may be possible in some way to also make some animation of multiple 3D gradient shapes like this one

From previous example I think that can be used the awesome and really well done Circular Reasoning By Rachel Duim that in some way is similar to the above although not the same.



But this filter may give an idea about it and I will test myself how this can be animated.

I have found this animation where you have a fixed image but then some animated swirls appear and they will mix and thrash all the pixels around

I think that this effect can be done in FF animated
